Official Paddington Bear Merchandise
A jar of Paddington’s marmalade has found its way onto the tree, complete with a cloth-covered lid and a neatly tied orange ribbon.
The dolomite ceramic is moulded and glazed in warm orange, cream and brown, with a small label naming Paddington’s marmalade. The ribbon continues the preserve-jar colour.
The dolomite ceramic is moulded into a rounded jar with a tied cloth lid, cream label and warm orange glaze. Even without Paddington Bear himself, the handwritten marmalade detail makes the owner unmistakable; the ribbon simply gives the important provision somewhere festive to travel.
Use the orange ribbon to hang the dolomite ceramic decoration from a Christmas tree, garland or secure hook. Handle it carefully and remember that it is for decorative use only, not a toy—although its place among the branches may still invite serious discussion about emergency sandwiches.
When the decorations come down, return the ceramic jar to its closed box so the ribbon, glaze and small label remain together for another Christmas. Emergency marmalade may be needed at any season, but this particular jar is happiest making its appearance in December.
Baubles and stars may be traditional, but Paddington Bear would surely consider marmalade an equally important part of seasonal preparation. Supplied in a closed box, the little labelled jar arrives ready to take its place among the decorations and provisions.
